Rolling Road

A Rolling Road measures horsepower and torque at the rear wheel(s) of your vehicle. It does this by measuring the time taken to accelerate a large roller of a certain weight (which the vehicles rear wheel(s) sits on) from one speed to another. If you know the weight of the roller and its speed, and how long it's taken to accelerate it, you can calculate the torque and horsepower of your vehicle.

You should consider putting your vehicle on a Rolling Road when you have fitted an aftermarket exhaust, superchip box, ram air or anything which will effect the performance of your vehicle. Dynobike will then be able to set up your vehicle for the ultimate performance.

Dynobike offers Carburetion, Calibration, Fuel Injection Setup, Programming Ignition Systems, etc and you can be assured of an excellent service and superb value for money.

Dynobike's Rolling Roads

Dynobike has two separate rolling roads ensuring a capability of tuning all types of motorbikes, sidecars, quad bikes and cars.  See more information related to them below.

Model 250 - Capabilities of measuring up to 500HP and 200Mph

This dyno can be used for Race and Road bikes and F1 and F2 sidecars.

Dynojet Power Commanders

Power Commander V for 2009 model year motorcycles

The Power Commander V is less than half the size of the PCIIIusb and powers straight from the USB cable!

  • 2 position map switching as standard (switch not included)
  • Gear and speed input as standard
  • 5v analogue input as standard - boost, temperature MAP etc
  • Enhanced Accelerator pump feature - vastly increased adjustment
  • Optional control unit to allow 8 injector mapping
  • Operates with Dynojet LCD display and Dynojet quickshifter
  • New and improved software suite
  • Enhanced quickshifter control - Adjustable kill time per gear and time between shifts
  • Twin CAN ports for integration and expansion
  • PCV allows -100% to +250% fuel adjustment
  • User definable map break points, up to 96 X 96 break points (10 Throttle position break points as standard)
  • Individual mapping/maps per gear
  • Individual mapping/maps per cylinder
  • Individual mapping/maps against 5v input
  • For example a mapping per cylinder, per gear could result in 24 individual fuel maps!

Power Commander USB
The Power Commander USB was introduced in 2003, this works on the same principal as the PCIIIR with the benefit of the fueling/ignition can be customised at every 250 RPM and can be upgraded with Quickshifter Technology.

Power Commander IIIr
The Power Commander IIIr was introduced in November 2000 and utilises the same 'direct injector control' technology as the PCIII. The R version contains additional circuitry and in some cases additional connectors, which allow Ignition adjustment as well as fuel adjustment. ignition adjustments can provide very positive results on the racetrack, where factors like special fuel and highly tuned engines are used.

Power Commander III
The Power Commander III was introduced in 2000 and is externally similar to the PCII. The PCIII utilises 'direct injector control' technology to control the fuel curve for models that do not possess the appropriate sensors to allow sufficient fuel adjustment using the PCII technology. The PCIII takes the injector pulse from the ECU and changes the pulse width signal to the injectors. This unit allows 'Fuel Only; adjustment.

Power Commander II
The Power Commander II was introduced in 1999 and featured the latest surface mount electronics. Additional features were added like the faceplate button adjustment. The Power Commander II also allowed fuel and ignition adjustment on select models. The PCII utilizes 'sensor offset' technology to adjust the fuel curve. Signals from the various sensors on the bike are monitored by the PCII and achieve the required fuel curve.

Power Commander I
The original Power Commander was introduced in 1997 and was available for the Suzuki TL1000S, TL1000R and 98 GSR750. This Power Commander offered 'Fuel Only' adjustment and proved very successful. Only a limited number of units were sold worldwide and the product was discontinued in 1999 when the Power Commander II was introduced.

Dynojet Kits

Whether you run a standard motorcycle, or a tuned sportbike, Dynojet carburetor kits can provide you with a simple and affordable solution to all your carburetion problems. Dynojet Kits increase power and smoothness throughout the entire rev range, while maintaining optimum fuel economy.

K&N Filters

An air filter supplies an engine with clean air, in order to provide optimum operating conditions for performance and engine life. Running without air filters is definitely not an economical option as engine life is drastically reduced. K&N air filters provide the best solution.

The Dynojet load control system uses the latest in eddycurrent power, absorbortation of technology and air fuel ratio module. The load control software provides the technician with the availability to control the bike RPM or Speed at any throttle opening. Throughout our exclusive closed loop software. The bike is automatically held at your predetermined settings so that the air fuel ratio can be optimised for smoothness and power. Custom mapping is now available using the latest tuning link software to maximize power and smoothness for bike and rider.

This dyno can be used for 2WD Race and Road cars and kit cars, F1 and F2 sidecars, quad bikes and grass track vehicles.

CMD Module by Dynojet - Petrol Engine Tuning

The Dynojet CMD (Combustion Management Device) is designed to optimize the power of your OEM forced induction vehicle, while retaining the factory engine management system.  The unit plugs directly into your OEM wire harness and intercepts signals between various sensors and the ECU.  In most cases the Mass Airflow, Manifold Pressure, Throttle Position, Crank, Cam and each injector are captured and processed by the CMD to enhance each combustion event.

Typical Gains show 12-36+ HP at the wheel

Features:

  • Direct injector control (+/- 100% fuel change)
  • Fuel change based on MAF, MAP, or Throttle Position
  • Boost / Fuel cut defense (through MAF / MAP clamping)
  • Boost Control (+/- 100% change)
  • Timing retard*
  • Plug-n-Play Harness with OEM style intercept connectors, no cutting or splicing is required
  • Update firmware via USB, no need to return the CMD for updates
  • Control Center Software TM allows for unlimited map possibilities and real time tuning (base map included)
  • Up to 48x48 tables dimensions allows for fine tuning and precise control
  • Works in parallel with OBD11 vehicles, even CAN-Bus systems
  • CMD can draw power through the PC USB port, map changes can be made with the ignition off, or remove the CMD and bench program
  • CAN-Bus communication and expansion options yields lightening fast communication speed with the Wide Band 2, LCD Display, and other Dynojet products

*Not available on all models

TUNIT - Diesel Engine Tuning

Tunit is an interactive computer which, through extensive research and development, exploits the full potential of modern diesel engines.  Individual programming and re-mapping of the vehicle injection signals enables this simple-to-fit device to increase bhp by up to 25% and torque by up to 35%.  This extra power is delivered in a smooth progressive way which improves the drive as well as overall performance.  Torque (pulling power) is delivered lower down and lasts much longer throughout the rpm range, making Tunit ideal for any number of applications including towing, carrying heavy loads or just a great drive.  Being fitted externally to your vehicle's engine control unit (ECU), the Tunit is readily transferable to other vehicles allowing you to tune your next vehicle cost effectively.

Along with the improvement to performance it is possible to gain up to 10% better fuel economy (even with automatic transmissions) by producing more efficient and less frequent gear changes.

For more information please do not hesitate to contact us on 01653 699216.  Alternatively visit www.tunit.com to find out more information on how your vehicles performance will improve!
